After a successful first year and a World Vice Championship title, the national car painters team are rearing to go for the start of the 2025 season. Two new young talents, Kora Riss (20) from North Rhine-Westphalia and Noah Seiler (19) from Lower Saxony, have joined the team. Both achieved impressive results at the 2024 German Championship not only with their professional expertise, but also with their enthusiasm, ambition and team spirit. Their companies are supporting them in this endeavour, which will involve a significant commitment in terms of time and travel.
The newly assembled team had its first outing on 8th February 2025 at the Deutscher Lackierertag (German Painters' Day) event. In addition to the new team members, the squad includes World Vice Champions Jason Scherer and Sergen Destek. Preparations for WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai have already begun: intensive training sessions are being held to reinforce technical skills and mental strength. In spring 2026, the decision will be made as to who will represent the team at the World Championships. SATA will once again be attending as a partner and equipment supplier both for training and the competition itself.
