So far, over 46 Formula 1 drivers have worn helmets designed by Munser, many of them World Title winners. But it’s not only famous names from the motor sport scene who love JMD helmet designs. JMD's creativity and dependability are also appreciated among recreational sports people and those who aspire to one day stand among the greats. Sebastian Vettel got his first JMD helmet at just eight years old at a time when he was still racing carts. The team of specialist helmet designers from Lower Saxony are also popular outside of the motorsport world.

I was very impressed with the 4400. The bigger cup connection makes the spray gun even easier to clean. The spray pattern is really very good. Even with difficult colour changes, like going from white to black, there’s almost no mottling. It's almost completely disappeared. What I found astonishing at first, and am still delighted with, is the fact that a 0.5 nozzle is enough to paint an entire helmet. I think that’s down to the high transfer rate.
