SATAjet X 5500 Lowrider

LOWRIDER – low and slow

The Lowrider car culture began in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-to-late 1940s, and grew during the post-war prosperity of the 1950s within Mexican American community.

When it comes to custom paint jobs it’s hard to beat the complexity of a lowrider, typically they are elaborately painted and decorated with murals, colorful candy paint jobs, and pinstriping as an expression of the car and owner.

The conversion of standard production vehicles into mobile canvases that are long, low and sleek “low and slow” is a cultural phenomenon.
